This is a call we get a lot, and lets be honest chiseling your mailbox out isn't how anybody wants to spend their Saturday afternoon.... only to find it leaves your mailbox in a worse place than it was before. Thats why the Retrofit Rust Sleeve was invented! An easy no tools required 2 piece kit that creates a new body to your mailbox. The first piece is a flexible sleeve that is made out of heavy duty ABS (essentially a flexible plastic) that shapes to the top arch part of the mailbox. The second piece is the bottom tray that slides to a secure fit on the bottom of the mailbox creating a new shell, which equals dry mail again!! 

Now what if the way back of your mailbox is rusty? We have found that over the years mailboxes shift and warp which has left it nearly impossible for us to create a piece that will perfectly fit the back of each mailbox. If the back wall of yours needs some help, Flex Seal is a great solution. AFTER installing your RetroFit Rust Sleeve use Flex Seal to create a barrier on the back of your mailbox, and you're good as new! Please note though that Flex Seal really will create a tight seal, and we mean tight... so make sure you're really really careful when applying it!
